Local makers list parts here before they make them. Try them on your bike in 3D, join a group order, and once a batch fills it gets made — usually for less than importing a similar part at a premium. If a batch doesn't fill, nobody pays.
Got an old frame, spare steel tube, carbon offcuts or worn leather? Makers with small steel and composite fabrication skills can turn it into something you want — and you get money off for supplying the material.
A shared garage for cruiser riders. Work on your bike alongside others by day, borrow the tools you don't own, meet the makers, then stay for music and a drink at night. Coming soon: register interest to help decide where and when it opens.
Example sessions and prices. A stand, the tool library and help from the workshop are included.
Group-order parts can be collected and fitted on the day.
Local mechanics work out of the garage. Book a fixed-price job, get your group-order parts fitted, or learn to do it yourself at the next bench.
Example prices, labour only, set against what UK bike shops typically charge. Parts are extra, and you approve any part before it's fitted.
Taught on a bench night, using the tool library.
Example events. Nights would run under the right alcohol, music and safety licences, and workshop tools are put away before the bar opens.
Cruiser Daddy is looking for local makers — leather workers, fabricators, metal spinners, sprayers, wheel builders — to list parts and services. You find out what actually interests riders before you spend a penny on materials.
